I’ve been obsessed lately with making mixes. Specifically for a site called Designers.mx, which lets you design a cover for every mix you make. I tend to come up with some sort of generalized theme before or while I make them. Sometimes I feel as though I care too much or have an obsessive fixation with sharing them with my friends and the internet (hence this post).
I spend as much time creating the mixes as I do designing the covers. A lot of thought goes into which songs I pick, as well as the order they are placed. They are meant to be listened to all the way through, in order.
I like cohesion as well, so I designed the covers to have a simple layout that is recognizably one of my mixes. I want you to be able to listen to these songs and look at the corresponding cover and feel as if they are connected.
